Hey everyone! I know you hear from me quite frequently these days & I am back again with A post on The Lakme Fashion Week.
A little overview about LFW, Lakme Fashion Week is a bi-annual fashion event that takes place in Mumbai.
Its Summer-Resort show takes place in April while the Winter-Festive show takes place in August.
Like every year this year too had all the glam and glitter alongside the most stylish and fashionable people in the industry & it was held at St.Regis Mumbai.
I too had a chance to experience some very fashion defining shows by the best of the designers from our country.
No doubt that every designer showcasing was brilliant but there were some designers I was personally very excited to witness as to what they had in store since I am inclined more towards menswear.
I must say it was largely dominated by menswear this time around.
Anaam by Sumiran Kabir Sharma showcased a collection full of sharp cuts and details also the grey colour tone was impeccable.
B:Loni by Akshat Bansal stuck to monochromatic looks and must say it was on point with the kurta and loose shirts.
Zero.Zero by Abhishek Paatani, I have always been a fan of him and especially his vision for styling and fashion. He literally brought street-style to the runway with the bombers.
Narendra Kumar brought ethnic wear back to life with his floral prints.
Divyam Mehta for Antar-Agni combined blazers with dhoti and that was something to take away from this Winter/Festive show, interesting!
Gaurav Khanijo, the man who makes linen look the coolest showcased cropped jackets for men.
Next up Mr.Ajay Kumar gave a new definition to suits and prints. Some serious print goals.
Antar Agni by Ujjwal Dubey never lets you down and he didn’t yet again. Totally in love with his collection.
Anuj Bhutani brought in some new staples for our daily wardrobe essentials.
Sahil Aneja puts in a strong game with luxury menswear designs.
Manish Malhotra, one of our finest designers showcased a collection of bespoke wedding wear for men.
Last but not the least Manish Arora played the colour game so strong and who other than Ranveer Singh would compliment it any better.
Below are few of the images of my look for the Lakme Fashion Show did some layering this time. Go ahead and check it out.
